Everything still works!!

I had my TAH 8 or 9 weeks ago. Even after I got the go ahead my DH had sinus surgery so we put it off of course. But last nite was great. I'm glad we waited even a little longer. I think it helped that things were even more healed. They took ovaries, cervix and everything. I noticed no difference and neither did he. Didn't need any KY or anything which was good. Had the big O. It was as good as ever. I am just so relieved that everything still works and it was fun. I do think my vagina felt a little shorter. But DH didn't seem to notice. I think he was having too much fun. I have been so afraid that there wasn't going to be enough lubrication since my cervix was gone, I wasn't going to enjoy it etc. etc, etc. Hope this encourages those of you waiting. I assure you every positive thing I have read on this website has encouraged me. Have a great weekend sisters. I'm cheering for those of you still out there waiting. Christy

Thanks for letting us know Christy that everything worked so well for you. We waited extra time too, just to be sure, and I was glad we waited. No pains or problems for us either.
