post-op, Hot Flashes

Hello, I am 15 days post op. I had vaginal hysterectomy, overies stayed but I am having a lot of hot flashes. I thought by keeping the overies I wouldn't just jump into menopause. I am 43 and wondering if this is menopause, do you still go through 10 years of all this??? haha or is this just because of the hysterectomy? My recovery has been a breeze with no complications and I am driving myself nuts to go back to work. which Doctor said I could at my 4th week post op...
