Eight Week Post-Op Today, Cleared for Active Duty

Hi Ladies! I had my 8-week follow-up today and got the GREEN light to resume normal activities and special time with Hubby
Had the DaVinci assited total hysterectomy and so glad I did! When the tiny 3 scars heal, no one will be the wiser that I ever had surgery...can still wear a bikini. I REALLY took care of myself these 8 weeks and limited lifting to no more than 10 lbs, no gym, no sex. Had absolutely NO bleeding AT ALL, even after surgery and NO pain while healing. This type of recovery varies from one person to another, but taking extra good care of yourself does truly help. Recommend DaVinci Hyster to anyone who ufortunately has to have a hysterectomy. I also got to see images of the surgery...AMAZING what these newest technologies are capable of!
