Re: In all seriousness...

My doc just said no heavy lifting... according to my bf. So explaining there's alot i can't do and showing him the booklet [ect] has been a pain for me cuz the doc didn't say it. Some docs either don't get it or don't care. This site has been very helpful for my understanding tho.

Re: In all seriousness...

My dr was awesome at making sure my husband knew I was to do NOTHING. She stressed that even though the LAVH was less invasive than some surgeries that it was still a major surgery and I needed to rest and stay in bed full time for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks I could be up and around but NO house cleaning.

I tried to go shopping with DH at week four and was exhausted after 20 minutes. I slept for hours after we got home. It would be helpful if all doctors would print a list of dont's.. Even sitting folding laundry was too much.
