Getting Cold Feet...

(((Candice))) you cannot feel atypical ductal hyperplasia. It is just the buildup of some slightly abnormal cells within the milk ducts in the breasts. They're not cancer, but signify an increased risk.

The things you describe sound more like fibrocystic breasts, which can be aggravated by estrogen dominance. Please talk with your DR if you have concerns about your breasts.

Getting Cold Feet...

Candice, ADH cannot be felt. These are atypical cells that can multiply within the breast duct, clogging it up, which could lead to ductal carcinoma in situ or intraductal carcinoma or even DCIS. If the cells break out of the ducts and into the surrounding fat, they are called invasive ductal cancer. ADH does not cause lumps as they take place inside the duct, so you can't feel them. They are often found during a biopsy (as in my case when a suspicious lump was being biopsied), and are next to the lump in the surrounding tissue. ADH is considered by many to be a pre-precancerous condition, and rarely cause lumps, pain or other symptoms.

I hope this helps to answer your question. If you are experiencing any issues such as a breast lump, or unusual symptoms, always be sure to get it checked out.
