Home at last and feeling great...sort of!
I had a TAH/ BSO with adhesion removal. Had it done 8 days ago. I had difficulties. I was bleeding out alot and had to return for surgery that night. Doc said she just needed to add another stitch or two. Once the surgery was over, my recovery was bad. I had bronchial spasms and could not breathe when they tried to wake me, so it took them 2 hours to do it. Then I got a fever and had to be on a rotation of iron and 3 different antibiotics. Funny thing is, I didn't feel that bad. All the nurses told me how much better I looked and how my vitals were so great considering how much blood I had lost. My doc also did a tummy tuck because of the extra skin being prone to more adhesions.
All that aside, I feel good. Laughing isn't as painful as it was. I am glad it's all done. Girls, don't let any of it scare you! God's grace is sufficient for all of us! He kept me through all I endured and kept my spirits high. Smile, tomorrow is another day and the pain doesn't last forever!!

Ramona,
I'm sorry you had difficulties but it sounds like you are getting better each day. Take care of yourself, drink plenty of water, take short slow walks, rest and enjoy your pampering!
