? for all.......

I am 2 weeks post op and had a small amt of spotting in the hospital and one time since I've been at home after a difficult BM. Some days I have more clear disharge than others. Mr dr said to expect bleeding like a light period around the 4-5 week mark when the stitches disolve. But then again she said I would have spotting now.

I have not had any discharge or bleeding since my surgery. I know I had a pad in the hospital and the nurses would check it but there was never anything on it. I also had a drainage tube that drained quite a bit. Also, I was able to retain my ovaries and as far as I can tell they are A-ok. How do you know if they are not working? I don't have hot flashes. Anyway, SheilaRay, I had a horrible constipation experience about 2 days after I came home from the hospital. I called my surgeon's nurse and she checked and told me to try an enema for immediate relief and use Senokot as a stool softener. Apparently, some pain meds cause constipation and the one I was on is high on the list. I had to get help with the enema but it was worth it. If you are still having trouble, check with your doctor first and make sure you can go that route. I hope youa re feeling better.

Learn from what we are reading here, girls, I too had no bleeding at all, not one drop, Dry pantiliners for 3 weeks, TILL I decided I felt great and went shopping and swept floors, and then guess what?? Spotting that day. Guess I am a hard head!
Lifting shower doors, and vacuuming !!!! Those that have not given into the temptation to do too much, heed this!! It is wise to resist!

I feel very lucky. I've had no bleeding, spotting or discharge, even in the hospital. They took my cervix too, perhaps that's why?

Not one drop of me... Not a sign of pink and my stitches are disolving and coming out! I just think we are all different.

I am thankful that I have had no bleeding, spotting or discharge since the surgery was performed. It is an incredible feeling of not having to wear pads of any sort... If it happens without me being prepared, so be it...but so far so good. I have had virtually no problems, compared to what it was like before the surgery. What a wonderful feeling!!!!!!!!
Keep the faith,
