Hysterectomy (LAVH) with spinal or epidural

anyone have a laproscopic assisted vaginal with a spinal or epidural with light general or sedation. My anesthesiologist today said it might be an option. My question. Is it possible to get that with an LAVH. And do you feel like you can't breathe?? Cause that would freak me out.

I have had a spinal for other surgeries and was able to breathe just fine but could not feel anything below the collarbone for about 9 hours. I am going under general so I will sleep the whole time, which for this surgery, I would prefer that be the case. I had an epidural that failed for me during childbirth where I was in pain on my left side, so there would be no way I would consent to an epidural for this procedure but that is just me.
