First real trip out....now bleeding....help!!

Hi Ladies, today I went on my first trip out. Nothing major, at least I didnt think so.....I went to my dh sister's house and then made a trip to Target. I actually used one of those motor carts to make my way around. Didnt stay there too long, and then we came home. When I got home, I laid down for a nap. When I got up, used the restroom, and there it was. I felt fine the whole time out and I had my 2 week post-op yesterday and got clearance to start gradually doing things. I really didnt think it was too much, but is my body telling me something different. I hope I didnt mess anything up in there. I'm really concerned, has this happened to anyone else?? :confuse: Sisters help!!!!

Hi, Misssunshine! I had my surgery on February 8, bled for a few days after leaving the hospital, quit, then a week later, started again. I'm still spotting as we speak, but it seems to be getting a lot lighter. My gyn/onc didn't seem too concened at my 2 week checkup and my radiologist didn't seem too concerned either. If you're worried, give your doctor a quick call, but, from what I've heard it isn't anything to worry about unless you're really soaking pads. Good luck to you. Thanks Bad Hair Day!! As the evening went by, I ended up putting my feet up and taking some pain meds and it was ok. I am still spotting just a bit, but nothing like I was yesterday. I guess I may have just overdone it while I was out. I think I was in a panic since I haven't bled since before surgery, so it was a lil scary to see it. I will be taking it easy today.

I'm so glad that you're doing better today. It is scary when something unusual happens. I know how hard it is to rest when our life is usually occupied with non-stop activities. That's the hardest thing for me to realize. My DH is always wanting me to do things and, of course, I can't say no. I think that is why I'm still spotting.
