Nearly 8 weeks post op, very worried

I had a TAH leaving me with both ovaries on10/12/08 due to contstant heavy bleeding and a large fibroid.
I have started losing a tiny amount of vaginal dischrge, it doesn't smell and I'm not in pain. It started about a week ago, I have become more active, but don't think I'm overdoing things.
I bled a lot from the vagina after surgery, and was finally told on day 3 that the surgeon had left an opening in the vaginal cuff for drainage and this would heal up when bleeding stopped. I haven't been able to find any info about this. Has anyone else heard of this? I am starting to get very worried in case I 'm not healing and thats why I've started losing discharge. Is discharge normal? I don't have a post op check for another week, I'm from the UK and don't have a lot of support from the NHS. My GP is now on maternity leave and I don't have any confidence in anybody else to talk over my worries. I know I'm going on a bit, but there are so many things you don't know about until after the surgery and its hard to explain to people who haven't been through this. Swelly belly has been a total shock! I hope someone can give me reassurance.

Hi hippy chick!

I'm not sure what kind of discharge as you didn't describe it. Give us more details (that sounds weird lol)

Well, it's pale yellow and hardly anything really. But I'm worried about anything and everything these days. I haven't lost hardley anything since I put my message on. Still get swollen at the end of the day, do you?
