Muffin top binder or support garment?

TAH/BOS Nov. 2012
DEHISCENCE Nov. 2012
OPEN HERNIA/MUSCLE REPAIR Aug. 2013

My abs are a mess!! Since my last surgery, my mid section seems to be larger than normal. I am searching for some type of binding garment to wear under my everyday clothes, but not anything bulky or uncomfortable. Something tight enough to hopefully put everything back in place and train my stomach to stay in (if that makes any sense). Any suggestions?

Have you seen those singlet tops that are support ones?? I forget the brand but if you google singlet support garment you should find it..... They come in all colours and you just wear them under your shirts etc, they even have great breast support too and not very expensive!!! All the best xx

A cami in a smaller size? That has been very helpful for me.

Re: Muffin top binder or support garment?

I just bought some support panties (serious granny panties - my husband said, "What is that!"). I bought them a size larger than was recommended on the sizing tag. I did look at the camis and just a tube looking thing but found that I need the support down low near my incision not in the middle of my body.

I feel ridiculous when I put them on but then I put my clothes on and forget about them...until I take my clothes off.

On the days I've been going out and about, not wanting to wear my binder. I have worn my spanx cami, they are very long and comfortable. I got them on QVC.

That's what I have and they are pretty long so goes over the incision and gives really good support...haven't worn a bra after the surgery yet...
