Weight Gain?????

Hello all! I have heard that you gain quite a bit of weight after a hysterectomy. Is this the norm?? I gained a lot of weight with my last pregnancy (3 1/2 years ago) and just recently lost 25 lbs. and got back into my pre-pregnancy clothes. I've been working out 5 days a week and am scared to death that my weight is going to come right back on. Any suggestions on how to keep that from happening?

Hi...

I don't think weight gain is a given, post-op. We've had lots of threads and polls on this topic, (you can do a search to find them), and I don't think there was an overwhelming number of sisters who gained weight.

I lost ten pounds....8lbs of fibroids, and then some. If you're currently in a good mindset for healthy eating, that will help you tremendously!
