dry flaky skin after surgery?

I am dealing w/ the dry, itchy ,flaky skin myself, I have found that johnsons baby lotion works the best, My nurse in the castle brought me some, and it has helped alot, plus it is great for all skin types and those who have allergies to diffrent skin produts.

Vitamin E oil also helps, especially at the incision site. My surgeon gave me the OK to apply it at 4 weeks post-op. I've been using it for almost a week now, and I've already seen a big difference in the look and feel of the skin right around the incision. No more dryness and flakiness, and I've heard that it can also help reduce the appearance of scarring over time.
