back from the castle and feeling great!

I am back and feeling wonderful.

I visited the hospital on Friday. Surgery was scheduled for 7:45 am. I actually got into surgery a little after 8:00.

Woke up in recovery at 9:15am. feeling a little nausea but not too bad.

Moved to a room by 10:00 and had lunch at 12:00.
Took a stroll around the hospital floor and was discharged by 1:30 PM.

I have had the best experiance I could possibly have had. I have no pain and only a little gas (that is where most of the pain is coming from the GAS)

I have 3 tiny scars that are barely noticeable.

1 in my belly button (about 1/2" if that) and 1 1/4" scar on each side. There are no stitches visible and I only need bandaides to cover them.

wanted to share and see if I could help set aside some of the fear.
I will be going back to work possibly next week.
I see my doc again today for a follow up.

Feeling good and glad it's over.

Having fun

I am glad that you are feeling so great. I need to know what procedure you had done. I mean you were only in the hospital for the day of the surgery!. Anyway let us know.

Thanks

laproscopic hyst

I think that is what they call it.

The Dr. That performed the surgery is a pioneer and he teaches this procedure too. I was very surprised when I went for my consultation that he told me I would be out the same day and that my recovery would only be 2 weeks.

NOW I BELIEVE HIM.

He literally took my overies and uterus out through my belly button.

Looking forward to wearing white.

Thanks:)

Thanks for the upbeat post I just posted one about being nervous, and you helped me tons.

I'm not sure if I will be able to have a vaginal procedure or not, but my dr. is going to try. He, too, said that after two weeks (if it's vaginal) I'll feel normal, etc. but to not overdo it

God bless you, and thanks for being a positive influence!
