How does your belly/abdomen feel? - 5 days PO

5 days PO. Had complete hysterectomy - all vaginal. Using Vivelle Dot. My lower abdomen is feeling very full, a swollen feeling. Pressure. Sort of feeling like I'm carrying around a baby?!? But I also think I'm feeling every GI movement I'm having. All food makes me feel overly full and gives me somewhat of an indigestion feeling. Burping more. More gas. Thank goodness no real pain and have started having BM's. Just taking antiinflamatory. Is all this normal?

That sounds normal. I got the swell belly every day. & The gas pains where the worst part of the surgery. I could feel everything I eat. Make sure you are drinking lots of water & walking a bit. Best wishes to you.
