whoohooo I have a date

I had my u/s yesterday. said he would be doing a TAH/BSO with rectocele repair. He mentioned putting in a mesh type sling (??) to hold the vaginal wall after the hyst. My pre-op is 3/19/02 ( my 25th wedding anniversay! ) and surgery the next day on the 20th. I knew I would have the hyst.... but was not expecting any type of repair. He also mentioned something about narrowing my vagina with the repair. This sounded a little weird to me but I trust him. I think I went a little numb when he was discussing my U/S results and I knew a hyst was realy going to happen. I knew I needed one.... but for some reason it did not realy sink in until yesturday. WOW..what a strange feeling. Everytime I think about it I get a strange hotflash that goes over my whole body. I could not sleep last night so I got up and sewed a pillow cover for my tummy pillow. It has little bears wearing scrubs. I printed up the list of things to take to the castle. I will work on that this week. I will bring my own bed pillow to the castle and decided to make a pillow case that matches my tummy pillow. This way I know I won't forget it when I leave the castle. It has a teal blue back ground with the bears in bright colored scrubs. I'm sure with all the white in the castle these will stand out real well!! Any way......... it just feels good to get my thoughts out. Thanks for listening. I do not know what I would do without this site. I love my "Through the Land of Hyster" book!

Sounds like you are getting prepared for your royal transformation to princess! ...great idea for the pillowcases-!
