I don't know if you would call it a nickel allergy, but cheap metal basically dissolves, and looks eaten away, when on my skin, and I turn green from it. Also, infected ear piercings from anything other than pure gold or silver. As far as bandaging, I have a rash the shape of whatever bandage for WEEKS following removal, mainly on sensitive body parts, not fingers and such.
I thought I was gonna have a hard time with no ability to take pain meds since Im allergic to them all. Im glad you posted. Thank you!

This Dr. Schultz's formula-can you take that in the hospital to stop the gas? I will definitely look into that. Can you take it all of the time? My poor daughter has stool problems-and I need to get something for her.

Your fudge shop sounds like a great place, yum! Glad everything went well for you.

Lena23, that is great! Hopefully mine will go as well as yours did.
Sorry I just saw your response. Dr. shultz's Intestinal Formula #1 is available at most health food stores and on his website. ust use keywords dr. Shultz's intestinal formula. You can take it all the time because you won't become dependent on it but you can take if forever if you want without ill effects. The fudge is good. We had a very busyChristmas season and at 10 weeksi am about 99% and still regular (I have continuedto take it). Good Luck with everything! and thanks for your response. I don't think they like you to take any of our own stuff into the hospital with you and most hospitals don't offer this because its more of a nutritional supplement than a OTC or prescription drug.

Are you unable to take ANY pain meds? I am controlling my pain with Advil now that I am home. Learned that after dental surgery. A couple Advil, as often as every 2 hours if needed, was OK with my doc, as long as it was temporary. Really goes a long way!! Wouldn't give to me in the hospital though, so once off the pump, felt like I was begging, and waiting HOURS past my 4 hour time limit. Once waiting 30 minutes beyond my nurse call expressing pain! God Bless, and hang in there!

no I cant take vicodin and percocet. I have some kidney problems from previous surgeries. They are gonna try and keep me off of them. Im glad to hear you are home and doing just fine on advil though. Make me feel better when I get home. My last surgery my doc laughed he had me on morphine. He came in and said most people would kill for this stuff. I looked at him and said I would kill to get off of it. I shocked him lol. I know they are necissary, but boy they make me so sick when Im on them. They think Im crabby with PMS. HAHA
