Oh yes, cause I will be going the 31st, and it's getting here alot quicker than I realized.

Add a Shower Chair to your list. You'll be so grateful for it, believe me!

One of the very best things I took in with me was a perfume package...perfume, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. It was a Christmas gift set that my dd picked up for me in the post Christmas sales. It was lovely to emerge (exhausted) from the shower smelling and feeling yummy! Good luck to all of you

What great ideas! I stocked up on mini sizes at Bath & Body works when they had their January sale. Got the pomegranite sample sizes. DH has already said I HAVE to get new jammies and robe, especially since my dad will more than likely be coming to check up on me. (my jammies are comfy worn). I'm stocking up on books and getting my list of DVD's to watch.

That reminds me I need to pack my suitcase today, for my trip to the castle, I just know I will forget something. Hopefully I won't.

I started packing this afternoon, I need to go get some trial size conditioner, and lotion to take. I might buy me a new pillow to take too, I'm not sure. Today driving it hit me my surgery is the day after tomorrow and I just got really nervous. My sweet hubby told me today he's going to buy me flowers and balloons for while I'm at the Castle. I just thought that was so sweet.

I took all those sorts of things to the castle, but didn't use any of them except my new gowns and robe....ooooohhh and slipper socks, you must take those. I was really out of it while I was there, and for the first 3 days at home.
But I've been home for 10 days now and I've used all the wonderful lotions and shower gels daily since then. My DH did rub my feet and legs down with coco butter cream everday until I could bend over and do it myself without terrible pain.
Good Luck to You!

I know the 2nd day I'm there I will be in that shower. From what my doctor told me this will be just like having a C-sec and I've had 3. I was up the next day after my C-sec getting a shower, with DH's help. Oh that reminds me I need to pack things to put my hair up in.
