TLH home today (10/22) after hysterectomy

Surgery went well yesterday. I am home now feeling very sore cant sleep to well thankyou for your support

How many days until I feel okay?

It varies. I'm day 20 and felt ok today. Just some cramping and still a huge need to get off my feet often to rest.

How did u feel the day after I hot burning in my belly and they blew my vein with the I v now ite swollen and pinches

Um. I felt horrible. Like I was hit by a truck and then it backed up and ran over me again.

Take your pain meds and rest.

He removed 5 fibroids and my cervix tubes and my 800 gram uterus

I was wondering if its normal to feel winded so quickly?

Give yourself some time.You had organs removed and your body has been thru an awful lot.Rest,rest ,and then rest again. Drink some protein shakes which helps in the healing. You will be back to "normal" soon, IF you take the Drs. orders to heart.
