Week four coming up!

Hello ladies what Im going to say I hope you dont think its to weird but while I was in the bath the other day and thinking about heading into my fourth week of recovery I couldnt help but wonder what things felt like up inside and so very carefully I placed one finger up inside and was kind of surprised how I could feel all the stitches and was hoping I wouldnt feel much being this is going be my fourth week of recovery?? Maybe Im not healing as fast as I should be?? Have any of you done this kind of exploring to see what things felt like or if you could feel any of the stithes??I see my doctor September 13 into my fifth week as during the sixth week he is away and hoping he would say things are ok to be able to go back to work by the end of September of for sure by the beginning of October but from what I felt Im wondering what he will say?? I really need to get back to work money wise but know I have to be careful not to hurt myself? Shouldnt some of the stitches start to be passing during my fourth week by now???

Im sorry i cant really answer that question, but im also in my fourth week (today), and i have'nt noticed any stitches coming out as of yet, may be they just dissolve, i dont know. The feeling thing i have not done, i think it would make me cringe to do it. It does take a long time for the stitches to dissolve and maybe some of them do come out, i keep looking in the toilet to see if i can see them. I hope your appointment goes well, it is on the same day as mine so maybe we can compare notes.

I will be 6 weeks post op tomorrow and had my checkup last Friday. I am still not healed. I have many stitches left. I passed a few stitches that I saw at week 4. My doctor said no sex, swimming or baths for at least 3 more weeks, when I go for another checkup. He said everything is healing nicely just slowly.
I miss my pool!
I can go back to work tomorrw. He said no exercising except lots of walking.

I went for a checkup at 7 weeks and still have many stitches left. I was released for baths and very light sex. I still am not allowed to go back to work because of the type of work i do... CNA... lots of lifting.... so I am off 4 more weeks. and then another checkup.
