Post op 4 1/2 weeks

Firstly I would like to thank all of you for being so open and honest about your experiences it has made me laugh, nod and smile reading so many of your stories and most of made me feel normal. I am 43 married no children due to my endo, fibroids. I had lap surgery where they took my overies and uterous. My biggest complaint has been lack of sleep the first 3.5 weeks now I am feeling like I could sleep forever. My post op appointment went very well and overall I have had a very easy recovery. Today I woke up with strong lower back pain which is going around my stomach and bad cramps. I am also going to the toilet a lot - I have not been over doing it and am not sure why I am having the pain/cramps - anyone else out there with similar experiences?

Helencp & sometimes the pain is a sign that we are doing too much. There's usually a big difference in what we think of as not doing too much and what our healing bodies think of as not doing too much Try resting and see if the pain eases. If your cramps are really bad I would give the doctor a call.
