2 week check up

Went in for my 2 week check up on Friday and he took out my cath. I am sooooo happy! So far so good and able to pee normal. He said if I started to have frequency or pressure it would have to be reinserted. Ugh, I hope not. I am however still on my pain meds, but with the work done to my vagina and areas outside down there, there is still alot of pain from that. You know I never knew how much I use those muscles down there. It hurts when I void, when I walk, when I sit. Man oh man. Started on Premarin 1.25 and Estratest DS once daily each tablet. I was too embarrased to ask doc so I thought I would ask you all. I have read the posts about the big self induced "o" and I was wondering with all the work I 've had done down below(hemroidectomy, fixed episiotomy, vaginal muscle suspension, bladder tack) if the possible contractions from the "O" could mess something up? I am soo scared to try it but ya'll I have my sex drive back like nobodys business (TMI I know lol) I don't think we(DH and I) can wait 6-9 weeks to do some manual stuff ya know? Anybody have any suggestions? Sorry to be so blunt but then how else to you discuss this?

2 week check up

If I had done all that you had done, I for sure would be calling the office to get an ok for "outercourse". Two weeks sounds way too soon to stress the pelvic floor muscles just for a test drive.

If you're too shy to say the words when you call the office...ask the question in a different manner. Just say, " the doctor said no intercourse for 6 weeks or until my exam, but is there any thing else that's allowable?"

Don't mess things up at this early date...if you begin to feel pain and go into spasms then you'd have alot of explaining to do.!

Take care!

2 week check up

Thanks. I will call Doc Monday. I think I will wait the 6 weeks anyway. After thinking it over, I sure don't want to mess anything up!
