Not Bleeding Post-Op TLH - Is this normal??

It just dawned on me that in all the posts regarding bleeding post-op, no one has mentioned NOT bleeding. I haven't had any bleeding since my TLH/BSO on 08/07/09, and I'm curious to know if this is normal? Anyone else out there have no bleeding after surgery?

I did not having any bleeing after surgery(07/30/09).My doctor said I most likely will be soon and not to worry because it is time for my stitches to start falling out.

I also had my surgery on August 7 and no bleeding...should I expect that later? Not sure what to expect?

I had my surgery on July 7 (LAVH w/BSO) and I have had NO bleeding at all since surgery. I'm not complaining, though!!

I had a TAH on July 20, and have had not so much as a spot of blood or discharge since that time.

Dr. didn't seem to be bothered by that at all at my 2 1/2 week appt.

I'm seeing it as a good thing, and I'm thankful.

I never did bleed nor did I see my stitches come out.

I had LAVH/BSO on 7/20 and I, too, have had no bleeding. I did have just a very slight pink tinge for a day or two...nothing more. I figure it's a good thing, especially since I'm 4 weeks out!

Hey Sister. We are both July 20 TAH and I was glad to see you haven't had an bleeding either. Seeing all of the posts, I was wondering if I should start expecting some but I guess we don't need to worry and we should consider ourselves lucky. Thanks for the support.

You shouldn't bleed. Your uterus is gone. If anything you might spot from the release of the egg but it is normal not to bleed. You should be worried if you did bleed.
