Bad dream - please help

Don't be scared its normal to have dreams about surgery before I had them too. Things will be okay. Love, ((((STITCHER))))

My surgery is in a week, and I had a dream about the doc doing the surgery and slipping and cut a main vain and blood was squirting him in the eyes and he couldn't see to fix it, and it was mass hysteria in the OR! Then he went out to talk to my DD and he was covered in my blood and told her I died!
Now do you think I have a bit of a problem with anxiety? :O
I have not had dreams about nothing being wrong, but I have had thoughts that nothing is really wrong with me, that the doc just likes to do hysters!
I do think that dreams *are* a way our subconsious minds deal with fears and anxiety so my dreams don't really scare me, I just wake up thining, hmm that was werid, or in this case, I woke up thinking hmm maybe I am just a little bit more scared than I think I am!
I have been having weird dreams about how to divide up all my stuff *IF* I should not come back. Hmmmmm

Well, if you're crazy, then we all are!!! I had some wild and wacky dreams too. In one my surgeon came into the OR where I was all hooked up to everything (even though they don't hook you up to anything until you're under) and he was in his OR gown and everything, and quit. Right then and there!! Another dream I had the surgery in my Grandmother's kitchen. So, yeah, I guess I'd qualify for crazy if we were taking a survey!! I wouldn't worry too much about your dreams. I do know what you mean about being scared the doctor would find nothing wrong - I had this fear too. All this pain and nothing wrong - I guess that really would make us crazy! But I think doctors are pretty good about exhausting other alternatives before doing this surgery. If you're really worried, talk to your doc, ask him for proof that there is something wrong, I'm sure he has it.
