UTI/Yeast infections

I have been having trouble with UTIs since my lap. hyster back in October (had all removed... uterous, both ovaries, cervix)... anyway, I've only ever had 1 UTI a few years ago, and I've had 2 since January, and 2 yeast infections (but I think I'm working on 3 since I'm on antibiotics for the UTI). I feel I got rid of one set of problems and now have new ones!! Anyone else have these problems?? There was a large fibroid that was attached/growing down over my bladder, so I wonder if this has anything to do with it?

I also had a uterine fibroid attached to or pressed against my bladder. I had never had a UTI in my life, just finished antibiotics for a UTI a week ago and I have an appointment scheduled for Monday because I think I have another one.

Honey, you are definately not alone. Ive just posted my story about reuccuring Yeast Infections. Im on the third one after my Da Vinci LAVH. My bladder and bowels were attatched to my uterus and Im having bladder and UTI infections too. My surgeon said everything went great but he failed to warn me about all of the infections that were sure to come. I'm sure that Im not the first one of his patients to experience this.

I'm still on my antibiotic for the UTI.... they started me on an antibiotic before they got the urine sample back, and they called me and had to switch my meds. So I'm still on them, and I know I've developed a yeast infection but hate to do anything for it now since I'm still on the UTI meds. This is for the birds!!
