migraines after hyst

I am 4 days post op tvh kept ovaries and I have had a migraine every night since the surgery I do have migraines but maybe maybe once a month do you think there could be a connection between the surgery I'm not sure I think I will make an appointment on Monday if I have another one tomorrow night I just thought I would see if anyone else had a experience like this. It certainly could be hormonal, or it could be your pain medication. Sometimes they can cause headaches.

Hopefully this is a temporary post op side effect, and your ovaries will kick in and start doing their job.

Here is one link to the hormone articles that talks about headaches and still having your ovaries. I don't think any of them were quite as new post op though, so your situation may be different.

If you go to the top of this page and look for the little menu box that says more hystersister, then click on that-it is a drop down menu. If you scroll down to Hormone articles and click on go, you will find several articles about it.

Another way to find out more is to do a search and if you look for the search button on top and click on that that might help you find more ladies that are recently post op and are suffering. I would definitely talk to your doc, but also realize you are pretty soon post op, things can change from day to day right now.
