Hips Hurt??

I am 7 weeks post op today and still have sore hips especially when I lay on either side. Anyone else have this?
When I roll on my side at night the pain wakes me up, as if I needed another reason to not sleep. Any ideas other then "don't lay on my side"

I am actually doing pretty good otherwise. Been back to work for 1 week, climbing ladders, bending down to work on low things, lots of walking around. The only thing that causes pain is if I have to just stand for more than 30 minutes.
Being a good girl and no really heavy lifting

Hips Hurt??

hi debbie
i am 4 1/2 weeks post-op after a LAH/BSO. my left hip has hurt since my op and i have an almost constant pain around the end of the incision on the left!! as if i needed another reason not to sleep too!
i am not due back at work till september 3, as i work in a high school, so i have the summer break to help me recover. i am not doing too bad other than the pains. being good, walking as much as i can and not lifting heavy stuff.
i am wondering if any other of our ladies have these pains too?
cheers

Hips Hurt??

My right hip has been killing me!

The only cause I can think of is lying on the hard OR table for two hours. I know it's been 2 months, but it takes a while for nerves to come back. I suspect that this is the cause because a male coworker - who just had a bowel resect - is having major problems with one leg. The PT told him it was from lying on the hard OR table for so long.

I'll be thrilled when it goes away, though.

Hips Hurt??

My left hip hurts as well. It doesn't feel like the joint though which is strange. I wonder if it's from sleeping on my side. I feel it when I get up from sitting in a chair - not so much when getting up from laying in bed.
