Light spotting

Hi Ladies, I had my abdominal surgery on March 5th, kept both ovaries and cervix. I too had some pretty severe night sweats the first couple of weeks, they have gotten much better. The past couple of weeks I have noticed a dull ache in my left side, I think it might have been ovulating. Yesterday, I started lightly spotting. My doctor told me that I could still spot even though she cauterized my cervix. Just curious if anyone else has gone through this and if it is normal. Hugs to everyone!

It happened to me starting 4 days post surgery. I was told my my surgeons nurse not to worry about it. Luckily, I so have a small prescription for Ambien and I am a little cranky since my surgery January 27, 2010. I am having my thyroid checked and my hormone levels checked. I have bad hotflashes as well. I am thirty six and still have both overies but no cervix or uterus. I have been wondering myself so I just wanted you to know that you are not alone. I know that for the first 8 weeks I would cry and be cranky while my ovaries healed from the surgery and being moved around.
