Bruising and bladder pain at 3 wks post-op

I had the robotic assisted supracervical hysterectomy 3 weeks ago today. I still have bruising by my right most incision, it's blue not a faded bruise. I haven't seen many references to bruising or how long you should see it. I wonder if I'm doing something to make it keep bruising.

I'm also having bladder pain, was checked for bladder infection it was negative, but continue to have the pain.

otherwise i'm pain free and feeling great, but wonder what others are doing for bladder pain and how long bruising normally lasts.

I was told by nurses that bruising from surgery-up to a month-and thats about when mine faded. Bladder pain for me was okay for a week or two and then hurt and I thought i had a uti about 3 different times but tests were all negative-that went on for 3 weeks and is starting to finally fade. Hope that helps. i was thinking for sure something was seriously wrong with my bladder -it was that bad!!!

thank you cassie222 I figured it's all normal but just really nervous about it all. is there anything to take that helps that bladder pain?
