1 day preop paranoia ...

I am sniffling and sneezing. Maybe it's because I'm cleaning and getting set up, or because I'm stressed? Should I be worried that they will cancel my surgery if I'm sniffly?

I hope that by the time you read this, you're a post-op and your sniffles and sneezing are a thing of the past. I think you're right though. I tend to sneeze and sniffle when I do some cleaning (dust) and stress can do strange things to our systems. I hope everything went well!

I'm alive!!! It's been a tough 20 hours. I had that gas in my shoulders and rib cage that was pure awful, but it's finally moved. Surgery took 6 hours. There were twin fibroids. Got to keep my ovaries. And she said my uterus weighed 2.5 pounds and it was like a 5 month pregnancy. 10 times bigger than average. Such great hospital staff. I feel so blessed.
