Tomorrow is my big day......

Ladies....I am most surprised about the calm I am feeling at the moment. I think the anxiety was more about the wait than the surgery. I am getting my home ready for my recovery, feel a great sense of relief that I do not have to think about work, and am gathering all of my strength and support for this big event. I had a dream that I forgave someone who has really hurt me, and that felt great-even if I just leave it as a dream... I do not want to take any negative thoughts with me. This site has helped me a lot-with both the practical and emotional aspects of preparation. I cannot say enough about asking for help and support. All of the family and friends to whom I have turned have practically gushed with relief, as they do not want to interfere, yet they really do want to know how they can help. Tell your support system what you need. I am off to get myself prepped for surgery. Thank you all for your guidance and love. Best wishes to everyone who takes this step with me.....it will all be fine.

Love, Judy

Tomorrow is my big day......

You will be in my thoughts and prayers tomorrow! I am so happy for you that you are feeling the peace that you need. When I read your post about only going in with positive thoughts, that's a great plan! thanks for sharing your dream about forgiveness. One of the funny things I've learned about forgiveness is that it's something you do for yourself, you grant the forgiveness because the offending party can not repay the harm. Forgiveness is liberating and so is good health, both are yours today!

I look forward to reading your post when you return home!

Peace
