Still spotting?

Question: Still spotting????

hey ladies,
Just a quick question - here I am at exactly 2 weeks post-op (hard to believe) and I still regularly have some brownish colored spotting. not heavy enough to soak a pad and not bright red so haven't called dr.

Are others experiencing this too? I want to be done with any bleeding!!!!

I haven't had any spotting at all. I didn't have very much spotting in the first place, but it might be due to the way I had my surgery (LAVH)

I'm also two weeks post op (TVH) and I'm still spotting like you brownish not red and I'm only using liners. I also want to be done but it doesn't seem to go away. And that's all I have had since surgery.

I have had some of the spotting as well. Mostly a light pink. Again, the things we will share with strangers. I love it!!!! I also had a LAVH but I think it happens when I over do it.

I had this until almost week six as my stitches were dissolving, which is a very typical amount of time for it to last. It gets old, I know, but it will end before you know it. When it starts to get lighter in color, you will know it is starting to let up.

I had the spotting up to my 6 weeek post op appointment with the doctor. she swabbed out the rest It is stitches It was week 2 to week 6. now all clear. the worst part of the drainage was the odor. yukey...It does pass hang in there.

I had TAH on Nov 17th and have had absolutly no bleeding or discharge...is this also normal for some? I am starting to wonder where it is going since Dr. advised that there would be some.

I had my vaginal hyst on 11/18 too and I have had spotting the whole time except the past 4 days it has gone to almost nothing and then this morning, it was there agian, dark red..??? Its not too much, I guess the size of silver dollar on the panty liner. I don't know if I should callthe dr or not since i didn't have anything for the 4 days?
I haven't done anything to over do it, actually I layed in bed most of the day yesterday. Any one else quit bleeding and then have some more around the 16 day post op mark?

Hi there! I had an LAVH on 11/11. I am still having some spotting if I overdo. It sounds like you are having about the same spotting that I was having at 2 weeks and it has let up since then for me. Right now I have very little and it is lighter in color than before. I am hoping that by next week this part of the healing process is behind me. I am going to be starting back at work and would like to not have to deal with panty liners! I know it can be frustrating but hang in there! Everything takes time and I try to focus on how great the rest of my life is going to be once I am fully healed!
