Tomorrow is the BIG DAY!

Tomorrow afternoon I will be having my surgery and I will get to start the process of moving on. I won't know for 2 weeks whether or not the cancer has spread to the uterus. As Tom Petty put it "The waiting is the hardest part". I really think it will be just fine and is just cervical. Last day for bowel prep today (thank goodness) and hopefully I get some sleep tonight. I just want to be well. I am also hoping my Myasthenia Gravis doesn't act up from all this. That's the last thing I need...

I am praying that this is a turning point in my life. One that will not consist of such pain as I have had, difficulty with "being with" my husband, and the severe cramps with my menses. I'm ready to put all that behind me and look down the road past the recovery to a better quality of life...

Re: Tomorrow is the BIG DAY!

Good Luck

I had LAVH/BSO almost 7 months ago and everything went well and I feel great. No more pain anytime. Yeah. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. My only regret was waiting so long to have the surgery.

Recovery was pretty easy. Less pain with recovery than period/ovulation pain.
