pelvic/rectal heaviness, is it normal?

Hope someone will tell me this is just part of the healing process. I'm having a feeling of pelvic "heaviness". Kind of hard to describe, other than a full, heavy feeling in my lower pelvic area . Also have some rectal pressure, especially when sitting. I'm not constipated as i had a giant one this morning.
Just hoping to be reassured that it's just part of normal healing.
Thanks!

That is normal ( at least from my experience) with a vaginal hysterectomy

I have found I feel that way at times too, usually after I have done a little too much

Re: pelvic/rectal heaviness, is it normal?

Thank Sisters,
I so think it can be related to overdoing it. It certainly is a strange feeling. i was thinking it may be related to internal post op swelling. It helps to lay down with your feet/legs elevated.
And the He!! with those dust bunnies!

Yeah, just let the bunnies play. Get them when you are up to it.
