Better sex after hysterectomy? 80% yes?

Will be having my hysterectomy in a couple of weeks. My doctor told me today that women after hyst. reports 80% better sex. I've mostly heard negative things instead on the forum. Anyone out there know? "Better?" "Not Better?"

Count me a part of the 80%! It's better for me and DH! No more bleeding and it is anytime...anywhere! Good luck!

I had my LAVH the 13th of Oct.... I have been back to work since the 25th of Oct and have had plenty of the Big O's...... Not by intercourse..... I did get to keep both of my ovaries.... I have always had good O's, but my O's are FANTASTIC these days.... I feel so good...... I go to my doctor on Thursday and boy do I hope I get the big okay..... I was really worried about the dryness that the girls talk about, but everything going well there also....... So my response would be BETTER BETTTER BETTER

Better, but maybe that was because I had bled for so long and then had 4 more weeks recovery.

My doctor thought it would be better but basically because right now we can't do anything. The reason it's being removed is because of the severe pain I'm in with any penetration , and now even without.

I'm looking forward to that area being better.

i had a tvh kept ovaries but alot of it is your mind just be relaxed
and make sure your healed use alittle ky if you need to
