waxing legs
I shaved my legs the morning of my surgery and honestly didn't think about it much since I wasn't really going anywhere once I got home for the first 2 weeks and by then I was feeling better enough to shave em again....don't sweat the little stuff!

waxing legs
Hi Kahakai
Waxing legs usually last me about 3wks or so. The pain is somewhat like having your bikini wax
It really doesn't take long - once the wax goes on -- wax off

I just hate the way my legs feel next to the sheets when not shaving

waxing legs
There's probably no issue with waxing your legs.
I guess if that's the biggest problem you have post-op, then stubbly legs is probably the one to have, eh? Just kidding.
I shave my legs 3 times a year whether I need to or not (blonde hair and pretty scarce growth) but even so, the last thing on my mind was razor stubble. By all means, if this bothers you, have your legs waxed. (I do believe, however, that it's not exactly a pain-free experience.) Just make sure that whoever waxes you is reputable and check references if you have any concerns.

waxing legs
mjd2491 - we meet again.
I shave my legs every time I am in the shower. Jealous of you. Or just anal...
My big issue was waxing..down there..I had never done it before, didn't want to be "shaved" (which wouldn't have happened anyway, looking back). Ended up biting the big one and getting a full brazilian prior to surgery. Now, I love it. The legs...who cares. You definitely can reach your legs when it matters. Any like waterpolofan said, don't sweat the small stuff. Time will fly while you are healing. You won't even notice or care about your legs and you will definitely be able to reach them sooner than you think. Such a minor inconvenience. You'll be fine.

waxing legs
Hi
I had my legs and bikini line waxed the afternoon before op. I just felt better knowing there was no hair to worry about for a while. My next wax is the day before my 6 week check up. I dont think it hurts, but I have been waxing for a long time. Good luck.

I also have been waxing , I do mine at home . Here are a few tips :
Let the hair grow in a bit the wax needs something to grab onto (try not to shave for about a week) , have neosporin for the irritiation that you will have , if it is to hot you will be burned , and you can lift skin with waxing and pull it off .... It does sting the first few times but you get use to it after while . It is dependent on your hair growth cycle as to how long it will last . I do my eyebrows as well an they need done every 2 weeks , every woman is diffrent in that aspect but the results are far nicer than shaving since you take it out at the root HTH

waxing legs
I have never waxed anything other than my eyebrows but I am considering having my legs done professionally after I heal. I hope you don't mind if I ask just a couple of general questions. First, how does the discomfort of waxing legs compare to the discomfort of eyebrows? Also, is there a concern of ingrown hairs? Lastly, how long does it last?
Thanks.

The longer the hairs on the legs the better the results will be . It is less painful than the eye brows (imhhoe). The results will vary from person to person but I have found that they will last at the very least a week and upwards to a month . If you can deal with the stubble on your legs to grow it out a bit that helps the person doing the waxing and provides you with some saftey from pulling skin off ,as there is more folicole to grab on to . With anything on hair removal there is the possibility of ingrown hairs but is not a common thing HTH
