bulging muscles under incision?

Hey Sisters!

I have a quick question....do any of you remember being able to feel bulges under your incision? I have two places that are about 2 inches long under my incision from my TAH where I can feel bulging. I am 2.5 weeks out and I feel ok, I mean I am sore a bit and a bit tired. Nothing out of the ordinary by what I've read with the exception of these spots. Am I just feeling scar tissue already or could these be hernia's?

I too have the same thing. I was cut up my stomach to the left of my belly button and there are two spots that feel bulgy and thicker along the incision. I am not sure what it is but it doesn't hurt more then in any other place. I am 3 weeks post-op. I saw the doctor and he looked at everything and said it looked great He did touch the area and was not concerned or worried if that helps at all.

i have a spot just above my incision that feels same way- at four wk post op- my dr. said it was fine too. as far as mine, dr. told me there is a ligament in that area was conected to the uterus - so it might be touchy as it heals..
i had noticed pulling there before surgery - he said that was due to the large size of my uterus.
