omg i can sooo relate to this!!! i dont know what kind of insurance you have but you may be able to file an appeal with your insurance carrier. check your documentation to see how and if you can file an appeal. if you have documentation that states that you benefit from a hysterectomy and there is enough documentation which shows that d&c and ablation is not a permanent option, they will have to relent eventually and reverse that denial. especially since it seems that ablation does have a failure rate that is unacceptable to some ob/gyn's

i am so sorry that they are doing this to you and hope that it does get ironed out. call your insurance carrier and demand a mediation hearing to appeal this.

Ugh, I am so sorry to hear. Can you and your doctor appeal the decision? This is so wrong...

I am so sorry to hear that you are going through all of this. I have walked a mile in your shoes so I do understand what you are going through. Have you thought about getting a second opinion? Sometimes insurance companies will listen when there are two doctors recommending the same procedure.

Re: OMG... my surgery was cancelled(again)!

That is insane. I'm so sorry

If you live in the United States then your state will have an insurance commissioner. I had ongoing problems with my insurance company. I sent them a certified letter explaining that I was notifying the insurance commissioner about this issue and amazingly insurance started paying my claim

I know it's hard to fight when you feel so awful. My heart goes out to you
