Pre op phone call from hospital

It just makes it all sink in.... Good news... No bowel prep

I got that same call today. :/ We are one day apart.

Got my call today too! Nov 5th is right around the corner. I am amazed that I am not nervous at all! It is a strange calm! Maybe it is because I am beyond ready for this change in my life...no more pain!

I got my phone call this morning... they told me no nail polish..i dont remember that back in 2001

They didn't tell me that but a few friends who have recently had surgery said they were told no nail polish. I figured I better remove mine just to be safe.

they also said, no lotion/creams just deodoratnt
no gum either

They told me same...said to wash up with dial soap, brush my teeth, and leave my jewlery at home...including my wedding ring. She did tell me that I can leave my clear coat polish on but I am removing it anyway.

I just had my surgery 2 days ago and consider myself lucky. No bowel prep, I could wear nail polish (in fact I got quiet a few compliments on my mani), didn't have to wash with special soap and could wear deodorant. It's amazing how different the hospitals are.
