2 week post-hysterectomy, 2 week check up tomorrow

2 weeks post op and 2 week check up is tomorrow with pathology reports...Praying all is clear! I am feeling better, mostly in the mornings and by the afternoon I am pooped! Walking about 11/2 mile a day up and down our road 🐢🐢🐢 as I don't wanna get too far from my house just yet!! I hurt more on my left side than the right but had a lot of scar tissue and endometriosis that they weren't expecting so I am attributiing my pains to that😉 I feel like my belly is extra swollen but it's a little hard for me to tell as I carry most of my extra lbs in my gut area😏 It has been very HARD for me to take it easy!! I like most women am busy with my Family, Church and kids activities!! I am very Thankful for this website! Any comments or suggestions are greatly appreciated

Sounds like you are recovering well. Taking lots of short walks is good for healing and building your stamina back up.

Some pain and swelling is quite normal - my incision was hard as a rock at the end of every day for about 4 weeks after my surgery.
