night sweats but still have ovaries...
I had night sweats before I had surgery, and none since. Darn ovaries were just causing me grief and migraines. That is why they are all gone. Climara patch works great for me.

night sweats but still have ovaries...
I'm 8 days post op for a TVH and have been having hot flashes & night sweats. Nothing new though. I've had them for 4 years now. I take a natural pill that is supposed to help. They help but don't get rid of them. I'm hoping they at least get back to how they were. My doctor told me when he said he was going to do the hyster that my ovaries very well could go to sleep for a while. My opinion wake up now! I still say I'm starting menopause dr disagrees, to young. Have no clue about family history, they all had hysters. My granny was the oldest unitl me. She was 37, I'm 38. Well, hope everyones nights sweats disappear.

I also kept my ovaries but had terrible hot flashes and night sweats for the first 2 weeks. They did go away though so don't give up hope. I actually called my doctor about it and he said it was totally normal.

It's going to be 9 weeks for me tomorrow and my insides still hurt. The doctor says it can take 6 months or more to be completely healed.. Guess we just have to be patient and not do to much.. Easier said than done. Take it easy at work for awhile.

night sweats but still have ovaries...
i had one ovary removed, and kept one..... i have been having awful mood swings , hot flashes, cold flashes , and night sweats:burning:. I am hoping my remaining overy kicks back in and starts working soon. Although i have read that sometimes the remaining overy quits altogher i am keeping my fingers crossed that that isnt the case with me! Other than that i am not having to many issues with healing, and i am getting around pretty good. Hope all soon get back to feeling the way they should!
