Surgery in two weeks!!

So I'm scheduled for my LAVH on the 21st of May...My pre-op is in two days...this is all happening so quickly! Also, my pain has seemed to gotton worse over the past few days...I think I have an ovarian cyst on top of everything else...My stomach has grown also...I now look even more pregnant...Grrrrr! I can barley see my feet!! I wonder how much bigger it will get by my surgery...I'm going to ask my doc to take a look on Wed. Anyone else scheduled on the 21st??

Surgery in two weeks!!

OMG!! It was like reading my story when I was reading your post!! I just got my date for the 24th and I ended up in the ER on Friday cause my pain has gotten so much worse!! I also look about 5-6months pregnant and cannot even fit into my jeans!!
Please make sure to talk to your doctor and be sure that there is no reason for the increased pain and bloating, other than the obvious of course.
Take care and I am sending positive thoughts your way!
Please feel free to PM me if you want someone to talk to.

Surgery in two weeks!!

My pre-op is on the 22nd and my surgery is the 24th at 2p.m so since I work in the hospital that I am having my surgery I am going to go to work that morning. I hope that it will help to relieve some of that morning anxiety since I will stay busy right up until "go time".

Surgery in two weeks!!

Do you think we are hurting even more cause we might be stressed? My surgery is scheduled May 22 and the closer that date gets, the more I seem to hurt.

I would give credence to this although it may all be in my head. But the cramping is now pretty much constant, waking me up at night whereas last week it was just kinda there. I figure by this weekend I'll be doubled over, lol. I was so good getting off the vicodin but am going back on it today or I simply will not be able to function anymore.

Surgery in two weeks!!

I think that our conditions just get worse over time, and by the time we have our surgery, the pain is in the severe stage...I know what you mean about the vicoden...I cannot wait to get off all pain pills!! I feel like I'm in a drug "fog" on my bad days...Just wait girls, we are actually going to feel human again!!! Yay!!!!
