Well I had my pre-op this morning and found out the Dr thinks she may have to take my ovaries.
She also told me that she "expects to find a mess in there". And just when I was starting to look forward to having this done.
She is also concerned with adhesions and a "fistula"? Whatever that may be. She explained it, but it went over my head. Lol.
She also stated that she is going to have a surgeon on "stand-by" because she is very concerned with my scarring and such.
I have had 3 csections in which 2 of the incisions became infected and created LOTS of problems.
I will also be placed on antibiotics after surgery due to my history and risks of infection.
She also mentioned my insulin pump and what to do if I am out of it and cannot manage my own diabetes.
:Sigh: Just when I was starting to be at ease with this surgery. I have cried a few times since leaving her office an hour ago. Which ***** because I am at work and did not wear waterproof mascara! I look like crap.
Not to mention I feel pretty much the same way now.
Sorry to vent so long. But I am falling apart.
I know Ill be ok, but cant help but worry and be emotional. Thanks for listening/reading!
