Breast enlargement 3 days after hysterectomy?

Hi, I'm new to this site. I just had a hysterectomy (by the divinci robot/laporoscopic) 9/27. I had my uterus, cervix and fallopian tubes removed but kept my ovaries. I had a end stages endometriosis and adenomyosis and have been in and out of excision surgeries from age 20. I noticed that directly after my surgery my breasts were sore and a lot fuller and noticeably bigger. Has anyone had breast growth without any extra hormone pills etc.. that have kept both their ovaries? Also is weight gain common with this procedure? I am 29 years old and ive been a thin person all my life. Also in wondering how long it took on average for a vowel movement to happen. I'm doing everything I can (colace, miralax, foods with fiber etc. ) and still nothing since the surgery.

Thank you so much

Hi Chefgal, welcome to the post op side...Breast enlargement is hormonal so during ovulation or due to a hormonal imbalance it may occur...The ovaries take time to adjust..

Weight gain, everyone is different. I lost 13 lbs within the 1st week & Im not 1 to lose weight so easily. I usually have to watch diet. Its best to eat healthy & keep in mind to keep the GI system going bc it may get sluggish.

Post op constipation is common. Walking, lots of water, rest, rotate that throughout the day..Stool softeners, magnesium, fruits, veggies, prunes, prune juice, juices. Many sisters go around day 5. Pumpkin seeds- full of magnesium, apples, water are great snacks & easy to keep near you.
Smoothie w 1 c blueberries, 1 c spinach, 1/2 banana, 2 Tbls flax seeds, 1/2 c yogurt & or 1/2 c any milk-soy, almond, ice. Keep walking & water. Avoid starchy carbs like bread & pasta bc its binding. Peppermint tea, gas x for gas. Heat pad for pain, cold for swelling. Step stool when you have to go. Lean towards knees.. Just a heads up, post op constipation may be painful. Ive found it more painful than surgery.. So keep water going & walk, walk..Eat the healthy things Ive mentiined & avoid binding foods early on..It gets better!
