On my way in one hour!! Yikes!!!

Oh my goodness...........TODAY is THE day!!! In one hour my hubby and I will be leaving for the hospital. I am terrified, and still wondering if I have made the right decision. Maybe I don't really need this this surgery! I geel like I am going crazzzzzzzzzzzy....
I have been very grateful to everyone here....its been a very supportive and encouraging site, and I have found lots of hel[ful information here. Thank you everyone and see you all when I get home towards the end of the week.

You will be okay. Just remember to get up on the second day and start walking to get those bowels moving! It is so important!!!

It will be well with you! I am praying that no one has to endure what I did this morning. I was sent home and told to return in the morning at 6:30 AM. Now, go figure that. Already nervous but calmed enough to proceed. Then they tell me to come back due to a couple of emergencies and not enough GA's. Okay...that will make you wonder if you are doing the "right thing."

But you will be just fine. By the time I post this reply...your surgery may very well be over. Don't forget to let us know how you're doing. God bless!

Good luck to you! When you get to the prep area, ask for something to relax you. I say this all the time - The waiting REALLY is the worst part of it all. I woke up in recovery feeling far less pain that when I entered the operating room. I'll be praying that you have as easy a time. Try to relax and know your sisters are here waiting for you on the other side.
