burning sensation in ab

I stopped at Walmart on my way to work this moring to pick up some stuff to make sandwiches for lunch for the next couple of days and thought I wouldn't get much so I didn't grab a cart. But I over did it I'm sure what I bought individualy wouldn't of been heavy but together I think it weighed to much and b4 I reached the cash registers I was haveing a burning sensation in my lower ab. I'm hoping I haven't done any damage to bad, I thought I was doing well avoiding all the heavy stuff. It's like I feel (felt) so good I forget I'm still healing...

Its normal. Its the stitches inside pulling. Just be careful.

I'm three days post-op TAH/BSO and I also have a burning sensation on the right side of my incision. This helps. Thanks!

I had a terrible burning sensation at side of my wound for the first week each time I got out of bed or moved in a certain way. It has reduced greatly now although I just felt it again this morning. I assumed it was stitches pulling but my doc told me it's nerve ends and again 'normal' and will pass.
Whatever it is, I guess it's a good reminder to us to be careful and to take it easy.
