5 more days and I'm soooo tired

I go for a total abdominal hysterectomy on November 9. I have been so tired the past few days, I have zero energy and don' t know why. Last night in 3.5 hours all I got accomplished was to bake a carrot cake, make 4 dozen cookies and wash the dishes -- that did not include making supper or anything else. I've suddenly figured out this has been going on for a while. It's just me and hubby at home and I can't seem to keep the laundry done up, I seldom vacuum .... I do have a job, but I used to do so much after school. And my memory, well, I don't have one that I can find anyplace. Will this really get better ????? Today may be my last day at work and I'm on old dial up internet at home with a slow computer, so I won't be able to get on too often, but I will post when I get home from the "castle". Thanks to everyone who is praying for me, that is what is keeping going I know.

Sounds like you may just be overly stressed. Don't worry, you will be getting plenty of rest, soon. Besides, I think baking a carrot cake, four dozen cookies and washing the dishes is quite a bit to get done. Try to relax and not worry about what is and isn't done. You'll have to be overlooking a lot after your surgery. That's hard for us multi-tasking females, but just accept it for now.

Take it easy, get lots of rest and pamper yourself for the next 6 weeks.
Destress yourself, do a few things that you LOVE doing. Pamper yourself over the weekend. Don't be superwoman.

Hey -- it sounds to me like you got a great deal done!!! As the other (((sisters))) suggested, now is the time to be kind to yourself.
