post op vaginal drainage

I just passed week 4. Did have drainage of a hematoma during week 2. I still having pretty consistent drainage - sort of pinky-yellow in color. how long does the post op drainage last? I had TAH and BSO on 3/1/07. Thanks for any input.

The discharge/drainage varies for each of us. Mine lasted for 3 months, but that is not typical.

You can have discharge from healing and dissolving stitches. Additionally, as you increase your activity level you may have discharge.

I am just now 8 weeks, I had a hematoma that was abscessed. I had more discharge from the 3 week after than I did the first three. Today, I have a small amount. Mostly tan/pink. Just enough to bother me on a daily basis.

The cuff on me is almost closed, just a small area that is still allowing the discharge. I see my Dr. on Monday. At least I don't have the pain from the discharge. It was irritating.
