DaVinci incisions still painful...

I am nearing the end of the 5th week and my incisions are still sore...I asked my doc but he says everyone heals differently and it may take time...but I am worried. I mean I should have cornered him on exactly how long...can anyone tell me how long I should expect the soreness to last?

I am also still sore at my incision sites and I am 5 weeks post-op too. I also have a lot of swelling in my entire abdomen area that is very uncomfortable to painful. I thought I would be much farther along by now, but when I try to do the smallest tasks, I seem to pay for it with a lot of swelling and pain on my right side. I would also like to know when I could expect this to get better. I know this doesn't answer your question, but I'm right there with you in the same boat!

I guess we aren't alone and maybe this is still the process of healing that we all heard about...I just see the outer wounds look good and to my mind I think they shouldn't hurt to the touch anymore but what do I know...???
