Help Quick Sisters!!

Are you against using your own blood? you could bank it before hand just in case. There is always a chance that they will need it. . .it is major surgery afterall. You prob would have to reschedule the surgery though, not sure how far in advance you can give blood, might be too close to the surgery. Hope everything works out for you!

A blood transfusion was one of my concerns and turns out I DID need one. It was very nervewracking in the sense it wasn't my own blood (which I couldn't donate anyway) or my families, but what could I do? When I thought about asking my brother, since I am type O negative, it was too late.
